The 2nd Tuesday Critique Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month beginning at 1:00 p.m.

This meeting takes place via Zoom in an exclusively online format.

Login information will be sent by email to all club members the day before the meeting.


 

2nd Tuesday Critique Group Protocol (VIA ZOOM):
 

  • Submission will follow the CCoH Submission Guidelines regarding size and naming of photos and appropriateness. Photos should be sized to 1400 x 1050 pixels and submitted in .JPG format
     

  • Photos are to be contained in a file folder labeled: MYNAME_TUESDAYCRITIQUEGROUP_MEETINGDATE
     

  • To create this folder for email submission:

    1. Create a new folder and label it as indicted above,

    2. Label the photos according to the standard naming convention: Rank_MYNAME_TITLE_CATEGORY.JPG
      (e.g. 1_JOSEJIMENEZ_BALLOONFESTIVAL_A.JPG), and

    3. With a PC, right-click on the newly created file folder --> select "send to" --> select compressed (zipped) folder. This compressed folder will allow you to insert the entire folder in the email.
       

  • This folder containing your images must be emailed to the CCoH Image Coordinator at [email protected] The email subject must be "Tuesday Critique Group".
     

  • All images must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on the Saturday immediately prior to the 2nd Tuesday Critique. (e.g. folders of images for the March 8, 2022 critique must be submitted no later than Sat., March 5, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. EST).
     

  • Submit only one folder of images please. Any images not contained within the submitted folder will not be shown.
     

  • Be prepared to describe the photo during the critique session

    • Where any why was the picture taken?

    • What camera settings were used for f-stop/aperture, shutter speed, focal length, metering mode, ISO speed, etc.?

    • Any significant photo editing (e.g. sky replacement, de-noise, sharpening, etc.).

    • Questions for the group or photo highlights you wish to point out.
       

  • Other attendees may ask questions or make comments about the images.
    Constructive critiquing of the images is the main emphasis of the group. It is not intended to be a show-and-tell of your vacation images!

     

  • A limit of 6 images per entrant please. These can be a combination of photos you have taken and images supplied by the club for side-by-side comparisons.
