My interest in photography began in the late 1980’s when I joined the Monmouth Camera Club in New Jersey, a club focused on improving members’ photographic capabilities and love of the genre. In the late 1990’s, I began to use my photography skills in support of non-profit organizations; more than 95 of my images, including five covers, have graced the pages of the annual donor calendars of the Christian Appalachian Project, a nationally recognized human services organization. I have also used my photography in support of several NPO’s here in western North Carolina. More recently, I have redirected my efforts to expand my personal photography, focusing on landscapes and wildlife, including trips to Alaska and Africa.
