Field Trip to Lake Lure Marina Sunrise
and Tryon Equestrian Center Pony Event
Friday July 27th, Sunrise at 6:35
Meet behind the Krispy Kreme Doughnut shop on Four Seasons Blvd. in the Big Lots parking lot at 5:15am. We will drive East on Hwy 64 to Bat Cave, turn right on Hwy 74 to 2930 Memorial Hwy and on to Lake Lure. We will do a sunrise around the lake and marina, then the "Flowering Bridge" until around 8:15 A.M.
Then drive East on Hwy 74 to Hwy 9 South to Hwy 74 East to the Equestrian Center, 25 International Blvd. Mills Springs, N.C. Park at the front entrance on the left as you enter the grounds. The event will be the USPC Charles Owen Championships East "Pony Club". This should be different, hunter / jumper event along with show. We should be at the entrance around 9:15 A.M. if anyone wants to meet there and skip the sunrise.
Lunch will be at Legends on the site around 12:30/ 1:00 P.M. This entire trip is a free event except for lunch. Please have you release form filled out with you at the start of the event.
