Each year our Club photographs this Apple Festival Event which includes the Pardee 8K Run, The Chamber Challenge 5K Run, and the Mini Moo Mile which all begin at the UNC Healthcare -Pardee Cancer Center.

Registration begins at 6:30am for the runners. This is a good time to show up and photograph the various costumes of the teams and the warm ups of the runners. The races begin at 8am but there are activities going on with the kids which make good images while the adults are out on the run. We also photograph the runners as they cross the finish line and as they are announced later as winners. The whole event is over by 10:30am.

We recommend that you shoot jpegs and not involve yourself in a lot of post production. Send us 20 of your best images(1400x768) to the coordinator, David Powell at [email protected] by 9/8/2018.

As usual, bring your Liability Release Agreement with you!
