Sunset at Craggy Gardens Visitor Center

Sunset at 6:27pm

Lets go to Craggy Gardens Visitor Center for a 6:27pm sunset.  Bring drinks and snacks for a tailgate party while we wait for the sunset. The visitor center will be closed but the restrooms will still be opened. 

Meet at Ingles(865 Hendersonville Rd) in Skyland, park on the north side of the gas pumps next to Hwy 25 at 3:30pm.  ....We will drive North to the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance and turn right onto the parkway.   Drive North to mile marker 364 at the visitors center.  This should take about an hour depending on traffic.   There is a short hike to a pinnacle for a panorama or you can set up in the parking lot.  We will be 3 days ahead of a full moon.  Shoot until around 7pm and return to Ingles parking lot.
