"ELK" Field Trip to Cataloochee

6:15 A.M.
Meet at Lowes, 19 McKenna Road, Arden at 6:15 am. Bring breakfast and coffee, as we will be leaving at 6:30 am from the parking area. Park at the far end of Lowes lot close to Best Buy. Turn right on I-26 West to I-40 West, continue to exit #20 and take the first paved right to Cataloochee. We will photograph Elk until around 9:00 am or until they move into the woods. That is usually between 9:00 am and 9:30 am.
"Wheels Through Time"
We will then go to "Wheels Through Time". This is an antique motorcycle museum. Camera's are allowed. Coming out of Cataloochee, take a right to Soco Rd in Maggie Valley and turn right. Wheels Through Time, 62 Vintage Lane, Maggie Valley.
Lunch is around 12/1: 00 pm at Salty Dog's Seafood and Grill, 3567 Soco Road, Maggie Valley.
Join all or Part of the Field Trip. Please fill out a release form and bring it with you.
