Retiring in 2010 after my second knee replacement, I decided I would take up a new hobby that had less impact on my body. Having been an outdoor enthusiast enjoying hiking, boating, fishing, and camping, outdoor photography seemed like something that would work for me. I had always been intrigued with the ability to capture an image of nature and freeze a moment in time. It wasn't long before I realized that there is more to this hobby than just owning a camera. I enrolled in several photography classes at community colleges including composition, light, outdoor photography, Lightroom and Photoshop. I joined the Camera Club of Hendersonville in 2015. It has been quite an adventure.
