I first started taking photos with the birth of our first son. I built a darkroom and processed my own black and white photos. My desire for a Hasselblad got me to take a job at a studio, shooting weddings on the weekend. However, after a couple of years, my regular work made me give that up and then most of my photography was limited to vacation and family photos.
After retiring and moving to North Carolina, I again had time to renew my interest in photography and was lucky enough to find the Camera Club of Hendersonville. The folks at the club inspire me to improve my photography skills and make my retirement more enjoyable.
