Refugees
This is a great example of zooming in to the subject to reveal detailed parts of the image, simplifying the composition. The subject (the mother) seems very sharp, and I like that the boy in the foreground is a bit soft. it leads your eye to the mother and it makes me want to understand what the other child is whispering to her. This image invokes a sense of protection, and bringing the "feels" is always a great strategy.
